Who should join?
This batch is meant for aspirants who are clearly focused on the CAT; it is not meant for students who will join and then give CAT some cursory attention. So if you have the fire and the will to look only at the best management school for yourself then this batch would be the right place for you. Of course, this is a weekend batch in Mumbai so being a resident of Mumbai would help. In the previous years we have had students coming from Delhi, Chandigarh and Indore who have stayed in Mumbai only to participate in the program. We try to help students with accommodation as much as we can.
Process for JoiningThe course begins with two free sessions; these sessions are evaluative by nature. Students can evaluate the teacher and the pace and approach of teaching; we of course evaluate the student on learning capability and sincerity. At the end of these two sessions we have a small test on what has been taught. Students are then selected based on the test scores. This process also ensures that you are amongst like minded people.
Past ProfileThe batch usually comprises 80 - 85 % working professionals, the rest are students or non - working people. Since 2005 (the year we began), we have had exceptional results. For the past three years we have managed to get IIM interview calls for 16 students out of a total batch size of 74 students. This may be the highest success ratio in the country. We have never counted and never believed in other spurious statistics like number of calls from the top 10 or top 15 business schools.
